Gwen, haunted by her traumatic experiences in a manipulative sex cult, seeks the help of Dr. Coal, a therapist renowned for her unconventional techniques. Central to Gwen's therapy are the cult’s disturbing methods of thought control, particularly a BDSM-style collar used to manipulate and dominate its members. Over the course of several intense therapy sessions, Gwen confronts the psychological power of these symbols, eventually declaring herself unaffected by the cult’s devices.

However, Dr. Coal receives a mysterious gift—an identical collar, along with a cryptic note suggesting she wear it. Driven by her commitment to fully understanding Gwen’s trauma, and perhaps fueled by a dangerous curiosity, Dr. Coal tries on the collar herself. To her shock, she finds herself instantly overwhelmed by its sinister programming, pulled into the very control she was helping Gwen escape from, raising unsettling questions about power, trauma, and manipulation.
