Two nursing students meet for a focused peer-led examination on localized facial anatomy, specifically the nose. Equipped with gloves, notebooks, and a calm, professional demeanor, they begin their session by observing each other’s nasal structure—bridge, septum, tip, nostrils.

The exam quickly moves into hands-on inspection. One student applies gentle, even pressure to the other’s nose, observing the firmness of cartilage and taking mental notes on symmetry and resistance. They switch roles. Then they test pinching—light at first, then firmer. Still no laughter. This is serious.

They compare results out loud, noting differences in pain tolerance and structure. There is no teasing. No flirting. Just slow, deliberate examination. The occasional eye contact isn’t tension—it’s peer accountability.

They proceed to alternate nostril compression and response checks. Then repeated pinching under controlled conditions.
