Ella's determined to win over her snobby new neighbors, Casey and Charlotte, so she throws a little afternoon tea party in her freshly cleaned living room. Doilies, pastel napkins, a fancy tea set she’s never used, and a buffet loaded with finger sandwiches and pies that she made from scratch.

Casey and Charlotte arrive dressed like Stepford wives with attitude. They eye the spread.

Charlotte picks up a tuna triangle: “Is that white bread?”

Casey peers at the pies. “You made all these yourself?”

Ella’s grin falters, but she nods.

Charlotte bites into a sandwich and makes a face. Ella snaps.

Without a word, she picks up a coconut cream pie and launches it straight into Charlotte’s designer blouse. Gasps.

Casey retaliates with a handful of egg salad. Ella ducks. The entire table goes down like the Titanic—pies, sandwiches, tea flying everywhere.

Three grown women screaming, slipping, and brawling in a storm of crusts, jellies, and whipped cream. Casey takes a cream puff to the face. Charlotte hurls a full apple pie like a discus. Ella, laughing like a maniac, tackles them both into the mess.

The whole room looks like a dessert bomb went off. And somehow… they're actually kind of bonding.
