Femdom

Femdom is one of our most requested categories. We’re usually booked with multiple performers who specialize in domination at any given time. But not all femdom videos are created equal. Here’s what we’ve learned about producing them well.

Casting Is Everything

The performer playing the dom has to be believable. That doesn’t mean she has to be tall or muscular or have a deep voice. Some of the most effective dommes we’ve worked with are petite. What matters is attitude, presence, and the ability to stay in character without breaking.

A good on-camera dominatrix controls the scene with her energy, not just her physicality. She needs to feel like she’s actually in charge, not performing a checklist. That’s a casting decision we take seriously. We know which performers in our talent directory can carry a femdom scene and which ones are better suited to other work.

Camera Angles Tell the Story

We borrow from how mainstream films shoot power dynamics. The dom gets shot from below, so she’s looking down at the camera and, by extension, the viewer. That low angle makes her feel larger, more imposing, more in control.

The submissive gets shot from above, looking down on him. He feels smaller, diminished. These aren’t tricks. They’re filmmaking fundamentals that most custom producers don’t think about, but they make a real difference in how the final video feels.

The Male Has to Sell It Too

A weak or unconvincing submissive undermines the entire scene. If the guy looks like he’s sleepwalking through his lines or isn’t reacting to her dominance, the power dynamic collapses. The male performer needs to actually wither under her control. The submission has to feel real or the viewer checks out.

We cast male performers who understand this. It’s not enough to just be present. He needs to react, respond, and look like he’s actually affected by what she’s doing to him.

She Never Loses Control

This is the number one rule of femdom production. The dom must stay in control of the scene at every moment. That means she knows her lines, her blocking, and her relationship to the camera before we roll. Small moments where she looks lost on set, checks with the director, or seems uncertain about what comes next destroy the illusion instantly.

We rehearse positioning and blocking before filming so the performer can move through the scene with confidence. Control is the entire point of femdom, and it has to be visible in every frame.

A few other things we’ve found matter:

• The dom should talk more than the sub. When he talks too much, the power shifts.
• Sometimes the most effective domination is when she says nothing at all.
• Total domination, meaning she never cedes any control, tends to be what clients want most.

Types of Femdom We Produce

Every branch of femdom has its own flavor (see also our guides to CFNM and mesmerize for related categories), and clients usually know exactly which one they’re after:

Verbal humiliation and degradation — she tears him apart with her words. This is one of the most requested types and it lives or dies on the performer’s ability to improvise. A great verbal dom can riff on the scenario without sounding scripted.

Physical domination — spanking, slapping, pegging, trampling, bondage. The physicality has to look real but stay within the performer’s boundaries. We discuss limits thoroughly before shooting.

Worship scenarios — foot worship, body worship, boot worship. He’s on his knees and she’s receiving his devotion. These tend to be slower-paced and more atmospheric.

Financial domination (findom) — she controls his wallet. These are usually dialogue-heavy and work well as solo scenes where she talks directly to the camera.

Tease and denial — she brings him close and pulls back. Over and over. The frustration is the point.

Sissification and feminization — she makes him wear feminine clothing, act in feminine ways, and submit to the transformation. These customs are detailed and clients usually have very specific wardrobe and dialogue requests.
